Attending a Magento event will help make you feel like more of a part of the brilliant Magento community that has sprung up here in the UK.
Here are three that we recommend.
For Magento developers – curated by people who know exactly what it is that Magento developers want to see – Magento developers! This event will be held in November at the Comedy Store in Manchester, bringing together developers in the north and boosting Manchester’s reputation as a digital hub. It’s suitable for all, whether you are just beginning or if you’re already a Magento whizz.
Further south, there’s the capital London Magento Meetup. The next one will be a Demo Day on the 9th September, location still to be decided. Held in the evening from 7pm ’til 11, the meetup will include a demo of the Amazon Payments system as well as a Dragon’s Den style product pitch from some key entrepreneurs. The meet will end with drinks, nibbles and the all-essential networking.
One to book into your diary for next year is MagentoLive. To be held in June 2016, this event is a key one in the Magento calendar. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet with people from design agencies, innovators, entrepreneurs, business owners and more, with special guests from the Magento key development team and Magento executives, where the sole focus is on the growing e-commerce sector.
