Europe is a hotbed of activity in the Magento calendar and 2015 is no different. This year, there are three new ones starting up: Meet Magento Romania, Meet Magento Switzerland, and Meet Magento Ukraine.
Meet Magento is an opportunity for people in the Magento community to get together and talk about all things Magento. With guest speakers and a road show of many developers, merchants, and solutions providers, it is a great way to get together to discuss best practise as well as meeting up with some like-minded individuals.
Meet Magento isn’t the only organisation that provides opportunities however. Magento Live and Bargento also run events across the globe. There are also single Magento events, including the largest one, Imagine, which is held every year.
The market for Magento is global too, with Meet Magento New York starting up in 2014, China seeing Magento Com and the South American e-commerce market picking up in Brazil with Meet Magento Brazil and the Bargeto Brazil event taking place too. Magento Live Australia brings together people across the Antipodean continent, with its long traditions of using the e-commerce platform.
Closer to home, there is the Magento Live conference here in the UK. This will be held in June 22-23. If you’d like to speak at this event, they are still hosting a call for speakers until May 1st.
Attending a Magento event will help you to build up a network of people who can help you on your Magento journey, helping to stimulate the community into making the platform even bigger and better.
