If you do a Google search for one of your favourite cocktails you should now be seeing the new search results cards for drinks. Searching for ‘Long Island Iced Tea’, a cocktail popular amongst those that don’t mess around, for example brings up a card with a variety of images of the finished product as well as a snippet of background information, ingredients, preparation and serving suggestions.
Here we can see an example below for a query just consisting of the cocktail name:
It also shows up for queries of the form ‘how do I make … ’. This example for a Manhattan cocktail is a little different:
However if I go back to searching for just the cocktail name (and here I’ve added the word ‘cocktail’ to distinguish the search from the place) we see a card similar to the long island iced tea one:
You can even voice search and get an audible description (usually of the preparation rather than the full card):
