Digital Account Manager

Elementary Digital (Leeds) are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and fun Digital Account Manager to join our team.

The Company

Based in Leeds, this agency of 12 talented designers, developers and marketers offer clients a full digital mix, including web design, complex ecommerce builds, brochure sites and on-going digital marketing campaigns.

The Position

You’ll be the face of the agency, managing web build projects from the initial brief through to launch and on-going support. Working closely with the Technical Director, you’ll get involved with new projects, scoping them out and creating a project roadmap.

Day-to-day, you’ll manage teams of web designers and developers, helping them to understand what is required of them and enabling them to overcome obstacles in their path.

You’ll partner clients throughout, regularly updating them on the progress of projects, being their first line of contact, managing their expectations and providing them with an excellent service. There’s fantastic scope here to get involved with a great range of clients, across multiple sectors.

This agency offers a working environment with a fantastic work-life balance. You have the opportunity to work remotely (full time if you wish!), with a great degree of autonomy to manage your own time.

What We’re Looking For

The right person for the job will have digital experience, most likely in an agency environment. It goes without saying that you’ll be ‘people person’, we need someone who is able to endear themselves to clients and colleagues alike.

Previous experience managing web builds would be a distinct advantage. It would also help if you are familiar with all the usual project management tools e.g. Trello, Slack, Basecamp. That said, if you already use other tools that could be used effectively, we’re definitely open to hearing about them.

For the right person, this role has plenty of scope for personal and professional development. Personality-wise you’ll need to be self-motivated as this is quite a stand-alone role, with a great degree of autonomy. You’ll need to be happy managing your own time, prioritising tasks and taking responsibility for projects.
